ELLSWORTH – It wasn’t your typical show in Ellsworth today–but it sure was wild.
Dozens of people and their pets spent the morning at the Ellsworth Public Library Saturday showing off their pets.
But this pet show goes beyond just cats and dogs– people showed up with bearded dragons, hamsters, chickens and turkeys.
“The kids just love it. They love to run around, show off their pets to everybody, everybody is really nice and supportive. It’s really fun, the kids come back every year and they love it,” said Willow Weed-Eaton, a volunteer at the library.
Awards were given out for categories ranging from “Cutest” to “Hottest chick.”
Prizes were donated by the Maine Pet and Aquarium Shop.
