ETNA-Authorities have identified the victims of a deadly crash Friday afternoon in etna.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department says 73 year old Debra Calderwood of Etna was killed when her Honda collided with another vehicle on Route 2.
Officials say it happened at the crest of a hill close to the Etna Fire Department.
Calderwood’s vehicle collided nearly head-on with a Dodge driven by 31 year old Richard Rupo of Etna.
Lupo was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center where he remains today.
Still no word on what caused the crash.
A reconstruction team was also on the scene Friday, trying to determine exactly how it happened.
