GLENBURN – An early Thursday morning crash shut down Ohio street for several hours in Glenburn.
Officials said the call came in around 7:30 a.m. of a roll-over accident involving an entrapment.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department, along with Hudson and Glenburn fire departments respond to the scene.
The crash caused Ohio Street to close and the power shut to be down.
Penobscot County Sheriff Office Sgt. William Sheehan “Single vehicle, lost control. Went off the road and struck a utility pole. Brought down the wires and came to a rest on it’s roof.”
The woman was the only person in the car and she was brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Emera Maine was on-scene working to restore power and fix the utility pole.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
