PITTSFIELD – Bike Maine 2017 is less than a month away and towns along the route are gearing up.
Pittsfield is home to the second stop on the seven day ride in the beginning of September.
Hundreds of bikers will be camping out in Manson Park on September 10 and the town is looking for help to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Pittsfield Town Manager Kathryn Ruth said “We’re looking for volunteers to help out that day in the info booth, running around putting up signs, helping us with all aspects of making sure their visit is wonderful.”
There will also be an artisan craft show open to the public during the same time.
If you’re interested in volunteering or showing off your wares, contact the Pittsfield Town Office.
