BANGOR – A man accused of traveling to Maine from New York to sell heroin will appear before a judge today.
Jerremy Cruz, 28, was arrested this week following a months long investigation by Maine Drug Enforcement Agents.
Authorities said he had been selling heroin in Penobscot and Hancock Counties.
Officials spent time building their case against Cruz, including undercover drug purchases.
He’s charged with aggravated drug trafficking.
The charge was elevated to aggravated because at least one of the alleged drug sales took place close to a drug-free zone.
