AUGUSTA – A truck driver was injured this morning after rolling his rig on Interstate 95 in Augusta.
Maine State Police say Joshua Linfield was hauling a load of metal and building materials from Massachusetts when he felt there was something wrong with the load.
He decided to pull over to check it out around 7:00 this morning, but his tires got caught on the soft shoulder which caused the truck to roll onto its side.
Linfield was brought to the hospital to be checked out for shoulder pain.
A northbound lane had to be closed until this afternoon to give crews room to remove the vehicle.
