BROOKS – The manhunt has ended for a suspect in the robbery of the Unity Pharmacy.
The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office said Andrew Sousa, 33, was arrested this morning.
Officials stated he was found hiding at a campsite in a wooded area of Brooks.
They added he attempted to flee into the woods when they arrived, but he was arrested after a short chase.
Officials believe Sousa is the masked man who held up the Unity Pharmacy on April 9, making off with an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs.
He was brought to the hospital following his arrest to be checked out for minor injuries.
