CASTINE – A new restaurant in Castine will be opening up just in time for summer.
The Captian’s Catch will offer fresh lobster and crab rolls made from shellfish that co-owner Walter Foster — also known as “the Captain” — catches on his boat, hence the eatery’s name.
The co-owners are residents of Castine and thought the dock would be a great location for their restaurant.
“We’re really excited and the town has been extremely receptive to us and we’re just looking forward to having a fun summer [for] everyone that visits and the rest of castine,” said the other co-owner, Deborah Hamblen-Wood.
She and Fosterb plan to open the restaurant Memorial Day weekend and hope to have a good crowd all summer long.
