JACKMAN – The American Red Cross is helping 11 people who were left homeless by a fire in Jackman over the weekend.
The multi-unit apartment building they were living in caught fire on Saturday. At least three area fire departments responded to the blaze on Main Street.
Few details are available about the fire but officials suspect it was caused by an electrical problem.
The Red Cross is helping the victims with their immediate needs, making sure they have a place to stay and food to eat.
