WINDSOR – An accident occurred Sunday afternoon in China where life flight was called to take one man to the hospital.
Just before four, Sunday afternoon police said 54-year-old Boivin O’Neil of Windsor was traveling on Route 32 in China near the Windsor town line in his 2008 Chevrolet pick up truck when he failed to follow a curve in the roadway. He drove straight leaving the road then struck a tree.
Police said he was taken to Central Maine Medical Center by life flight and evidence at the scene suggest both speed and alcohol are likely factors in the crash.
Police said no charges have been filed at this point as the case is still under investigation.
