BANGOR – The waterfront will be seeing a new festival made up of only Maine businesses.
For those looking for some weekend entertainment, the Best of the North Festival is the place to be on Saturday.
There will be lots of wine, wings and beer.
There had previously been a festival for each of the three but they’re now being combined for one big event.
Everything is 100 percent local, including the live music.
“We’re toying with the idea of bringing our sour beer, Freia, and possibly Psychic Warfare,” Chris Morley, owner of Mason’s Brewing Company, said.
Tickets can be found online at the Best of the North’s website. A limited number of tickets will be available on the day of the festival but at a higher price.
The festival will start at 11 a.m. and wind down at 4 p.m.
