LIVERMORE FALLS – Investigators from the state fire marshal’s office are working to pinpoint the cause of a deadly fire Tuesday evening that resulted in the death of an individual who was not immediatly identified.
Two children who were at home at the time were rescued after jumping from the burning building.
The fire at the home on Main Street erupted around 7 p.m.
Officials said that a police sergeant happened to be driving by and spotted the 14-year-old and 11-year-old boys hanging from the window of the burning home. The officer caught both boys when they jumped and both are expected to be okay.
However, there was nothing that could be done to save another person who was trapped inside. Officials had released the identity of the person who was killed as of Wednesday morning.
