BANGOR – A Bangor hospital has released the last video in a series aimed at helping students, teachers and parents.
Acadia Cares is a video series comprised of seven videos focusing on youth mental health issues.
The first six videos address bullying, suicide, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and problems facing the LGBTQ community.
The last one focuses on resiliency.
“Our kids are resilient. Even though they’re having tough times, there’s hope at the end of this tunnel. That there’s hope that are kids are gonna get better they’re going to do better,” said Judy Fortin, pediatric inpatient services director for Northern Light Acadia Hospital.
Fortin said community members, parents and teachers are using the videos as educational aids.
