BANGOR – A Dexter man will be spending a year and a day in jail for his role in a marijuana distribution operation.
Terrance Sawtelle, 49, was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Bangor.
Sawtelle pled guilty to conspiring to manufacture, distribute and possess with the intent to distribute marijuana in June of last year.
According to court records, for a period of time between October 2010 and August 2016 Sawtelle conspired to illegally manufacture marijuana at a facility in Frankfort with the intent to distribute it at the Owls Club in Bangor.
Court records indicate that the Owls Club was owned and operated by co-defendant Christopher Ruhlin.
