ELLSWORTH – A Bucksport man pleaded guilty Friday of operating a meth lab that was busted in November.
Adam Staples was sentenced to two years behind bars for admitting to that felony.
The meth lab he was operating was located at his home on Central Street in Bucksport. Drug agents found meth-making materials there last fall.
In entering his plea, Staples said he thought the evidence held by the prosecution would convince a jury he was guilty. Staples also violated his probation.
