BANGOR – Folks in Bangor were taking part in Maine Maple Sunday with a pancake breakfast to benefit the Penobscot Livestock 4-H Club.
4-H members were selling Krispy Kreme donuts and making pancakes, with maple syrup of course, for customers of Blue Seal on Stillwater Ave.
The donations are going to fund a summer clinic for the 4-H club.
Our news team caught up with some members at the end of their fundraiser, and they told us their favorite part about the livestock club.
“Probably showing the cows and being around the animals,” said Abby Caron. “It was really busy, like I was surprised how busy it got here because I thought everybody would just be at like sugar shacks.”
Their fundraising goal for the summer clinic is $800.
