DEDHAM – The community is coming together to help support a survivor of a fire in Dedham that killed 76-year-old Jerry Bishop last month.
Phyllis Bishop lost both her husband and her home in the fire.
Now the Brewer Historical Society, Holden Historical Society, and Dedham Congregational Church are teaming up to help her.
On Saturday, they will be holding a benefit supper and silent auction at Dedham Congregational Church.
“Phyllis is a very dedicated person. She has dedicated herself to this community and many others over several years and so really, come out to support Phyllis, getting her feet back on the ground so she can move forward with her life,” said Nathanial Blanchard of the Holden Historical Society.
The doors open at 4:30 p.m. and tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for children under 12.
