BANGOR – The local mother who is facing charges of drugging her child with meth-tainted breast milk, was arrested Tuesday for operating a meth lab.
Alyssa Murch, 20, was charged with felony aggravated unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs and domestic violence assault against a child under the age of 6 years old after her unconscious 7-month old child was taken to the hospital on Dec.16 of last year.
Murch also faces a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child related to that case.
On Tuesday afternoon she was arrested for unlawful operation of a meth lab and violating conditions of her release, according to a news release from the Penobscot County District Attorney’s Office.
Murch is scheduled to go before a judge at the Penobscot Judicial Center on the new meth charges Wednesday afternoon.
