BREWER – The Tax Office at Brewer City Hall, 80 North Main Street, will be closed Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 8:00am to 12:00 noon to upgrade the City’s accounting software. Preparation for the upgrade will start the day before at 2:00pm Wednesday, March 25 at which time the Tax Office will be limited to accepting payments for basic services (e.g. water, sewer, etc.) and providing hand written receipts.
The Tax Office is expected to resume normal operations by noon on March 26th; however, the City encourages customers to call the Tax Office at 207-989-7060 first to confirm that the office has reopened. Customers are always welcome to send in sewer, water and tax payments via mail. A number of services are available online, including vehicle, ATV and snowmobile re-registration and hunting and fishing licenses.
