MARS HILL – The drug, bath salts isn’t making as many headlines in recent months, but drug agents say it’s still a big problem in Maine.
Including in Aroostook County where a 44 year old woman is accused of selling the dangerous drug. Leda Giggey was arrested Friday following a raid at a home on Benjamin Street in Mars Hill.
Officials say they found a small amount of bath salts, prescription drugs, cash and other evidence of drug trafficking. Maine drug agents say the arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation into local sources for the drug.
