AROOSTOOK COUNTY – Four teens are facing charges after a multi-department investigation into a string of burglaries and thefts in northern Maine.
18-year-olds Zachary McBreairty, Richard LaPointe, Tyler Babin and a 16-year old male juvenile have been charged with various counts of burglary, theft, and criminal mischief.
State Police, Aroostook County Sheriff’s and Fort Kent Police worked together on a number of burglaries and thefts that took place in Fort Kent, Saint John, and Frenchville on Sunday.
Police say homes and cars were broken into and cash, medical marijuana and other items were stolen. Many of the items have since been recovered.
All 4 males have a June 16th court date, and police say more charges are possible.
