OWLS HEAD – An Owls Head man is facing a laundry list of charges after pulling both a knife and a gun on a Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy.
A warrant was out for the arrest of 40-year-old Ronald Harding Jr. When a deputy arrived at his home, Harding tried to run away. The deputy tackled him, and Harding grabbed a dagger out of his jacket. When the officer got that away from him, he pulled out a pistol.
The deputy sustained an injury to his hand during the scuffle, and Harding was taken to a local hospital for injuries to his face.
In addition to the criminal mischief charge he was facing, Harding has also been charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and refusing to submit to arrest.
He’s at the Knox County Jail Thursday night.
