AUGUSTA – Main Security Surveillance and Capitol Computers are proud to announce a merger, which has taken effect as of March 31 to form a single, powerhouse IT services company.
Main Security Surveillance and its parent company PSB.COM (Professional Security Broadband) offer a full suite of IT services including advanced monitoring, remote support, programs for security compliance (PCI/HIPAA), cloud-based video/storage/backup, desktop/server management, helpdesk, custom application development, and Office 365 migrations.
Main Security Surveillance has been the leader in commercial and residential security systems for more than 40 years and strategically added a Computer Security Division (CSD) several years ago to meet technical challenges faced by SMB’s who need to augment or outsource their IT services.
Capitol Computers is the original IT company in the State founded in 1983 by Thomas Johnson and continues to be the “Best of the Best in the Area for Computing and Networking Sales and Service” as awarded this year for the 19th time by Market Surveys of America.
Capitol Computers is known for its rich history in repairing computers/laptops/servers/peripherals on all platforms and providing top notch training in their own training facility.
Together, these two Maine based companies are poised to be the go to leader in security and technology needs. Main Security will relocate its main office to 151 Water Street where Capitol Computers currently resides for expansion considerations and will continue to maintain its satellite office on Main St. in Rockland.
