MAINE – Prices at the pump are holding steady across the nation, though they continue to rise in the Pine Tree State.
According to gasbuddy.com. The average price of gas in Maine is ringing in at $2.53 a gallon. That’s just a penny below the national average of $2.54 cents.
Across the country, prices are up 11 cents from this time last month and, down $1.60 from this time last year.
California currently has the highest gas prices in the nation. With a price tag of $3.38 cents a gallon.
And South Carolina boasts the cheapest prices this week, costing just $2.26 a gallon.
