STANDISH – The use of methamphetamine continues to spread around the state.
Two people were arrested over the weekend after drug agents broke up an alleged drug operation in Standish.
Officials say they were called to a home on Woodland Avenue late Saturday morning for a family disturbance and that’s when they say they discovered a meth laboratory inside the house. They also learned that five children were living in the home where the dangerous chemicals had been mixed.
Agents ended up arresting 32 year old Timothy Schoubroek and 35 year old Tressa Sprague. Both are charged with unlawful trafficking in methamphetamine and violating the conditions of release.
Authorities are also considering charging them with endangering the welfare of a child.
