BANGOR – The public will have a chance to weigh in on whether Clinton Street in Bangor should be made one way.
A city council’s infrastructure committee has made the recommendation as a way to alleviate congestion at the busy intersection of Hammond and Ohio streets.
Officials say Clinton street has low traffic volume and eliminating the signal would allow more time for the flow of traffic on Hammond and Ohio streets.
A meeting to discuss the change is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Tomorrow in the 3rd floor conference room at City Hall.
