Bangor- Bangor businesses are finding a new way of advertising, but this time you could end up with a prize.
Studio Linear teamed up with Miguel’s Restaurant this morning for the first marketing scavenger hunt. Seekers were given clues on Facebook and Twitter to try to locate a gift card to Miguel’s, which was hidden somewhere in Bangor.
“It’s another way for people to get to also know us as people at Studio Linear. Each prize will be something that we get to pick, something that we love. So it will always be changing so we will hit a different target audience each time,” said Andrea Beaulieu, co-owner of Studio Linear.
After a few hours, the gift card was found behind a planter near the Hammond Street Senior Center, but the winner wasn’t even trying to find the gift card when he stumbled upon it!
“It was kind of a surprise because I had already walked by the area and I was just heading back to work and I just spotted it,” said Ron Lawson, winner of the scavenger hunt.
Studio Linear believes the scavenger hunt was a success and plans to continue them at least once a month. So pay attention, you might be the next lucky winner!
