Eastern Maine HomeCare Announces National Visiting Nurse Associations (VNA) Week, May 3-8
BREWER – Eastern Maine HomeCare (EMHC) joins the Visiting Nurse Associations of America and hundreds of organizations across the country in commemorating National VNA Week, May 3-8, 2015. This week celebrates over a century of mission driven, nonprofit home health and hospice agencies providing patient-centered care in communities across the country.
The second week of May is set aside as a special time for expressing appreciation to thousands of home healthcare and hospice employees who tirelessly care for millions of patients across the country.

This is a week to celebrate our excellent team of healthcare professionals and all the hard work they do throughout the year. Eastern Maine HomeCare provides homecare and hospice services to communities throughout Maine with four offices, located in Bangor, Ellsworth, Houlton, and Caribou. This week, the organization will be celebrating VNA Week with special treats, events, and appreciation for all staff.
