(Cornville- ME) Its expected to be yet another busy year and weekend in Cornville as the 32nd annual ten mile yard sale kicks off all day Saturday and Sunday.
The “yard sale” will be selling odds and ends, plants and tools, farm equipment and a surplus of items.
Raine or Shine the event will go on. Nearly 50 plus homes, lawns, barns, vacant lots and garages will display all sorts of items from Cass’ Corner on Route 150 in Cornville down West Ridge Road to Malbons Mills Road in Skowhegan on to the Kennebec River on U.S. Route 2.
Nelson’s Candies and Cornville vendor, Janet Bernard and her friend, Joyce Flagan spent most of Friday unloading toys and items from boxes.
The yard sale started in 1983 when several neighbors had a yard sale. That yard sale expanded when sales and the amount of people attending, increased now to ten-miles and more.
It will be all day Saturday and Sunday from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.
