BANGOR – Residents and visitors to The Queen City are asked to prepare for congested traffic days.
Two big events in Bangor on Sunday are expected to create heavier than normal traffic on Main Street.
Bangor High School will hold their graduation at the Cross Insurance Center at 4 p.m.. While, concert goers will be flocking to the Waterfront for the Zac Brown concert, which gets under way at 6:30 p.m..
Anyone attending either of these events are advised to arrive early, leaving plenty of time to find a place to park, and walk to their destination. Motorists, also reminded of the on-going construction on Main Street.
“There will be a commanding officer and two officers assigned to the Cross Center and they actually manually take over the light system and they run it by a plunger system. And it goes fairly smoothly, letting 25 or 30 cars out that works pretty well.” Bob Bishop, Bangor Police Department
