BANGOR – More than 2,000 active military members and veterans were given the opportunity to attend the Lady Antebellum concert Thursday night with a member of their family for free.
It’s part of a partnership between Waterfront Concerts, the Maine Military Network, and Lady A.
Military members say it means a lot when artists express their thanks for military service, and enjoy the opportunity to see a show.
“It’s a really good response and great to see the community coming together because you’ve got civilians, veterans, families all coming together and having a great time.” Sgt. Nathaniel Grace, Community Liaison, Maine National Guard
First responders were also eligible to receive 2 free tickets.
