BANGOR- Numbers from state alcoholic beverage records show Allen’s Coffee Brandy is not only trailing behind fireball this year.
It’s now trailing behind Tito’s Vodka as well.
Mainers spent more than $12 million on Fireball and more than $11 million on Tito’s Vodka.
Allen’s Coffee Brandy came in third, with Mainers spending just over $9 million on it.
“The difference with Fireball and Tito’s, you do have the mini’s, the nips, the airline bottles, so you get a bit more variety, versus the Allen’s doesn’t have those,” said Dave Makson, the manager of Damon’s Beverage and Redemption Center. “It’s one of our more popular items and a steady steady go to.”
While sales show Allen’s Coffee Brandy in third place, it’s still the most purchased in terms of volume.
