STATEWIDE – Aroma Joe’s is continuing to fuel frontline employees working to combat COVID-19.
As of Thursday, they’ve given out more than 9,000 free cups of coffee to support healthcare workers.
All Aroma Joe’s locations from Maine to Florida started serving free 16-ounce cups of hot or iced coffee on March 16, and they’ll continue to until March 31.
“We are in such an unprecedented time right now and these are the people that are really on those front lines,” said Carrie Riley, chief marketing officer for Aroma Joe’s.
“When we see some of the Facebook messages, I think, as a team we’ve been all sharing them about people saying they’re working 12 hour shifts, they haven’t seen their family, it’s the one joy they’ve had in the day,” she said.
Riley said more than 81,000 people have shared it on Facebook and the response has been overwhelming from healthcare workers.
