BANGOR – The Goodwill Store on Stillwater Avenue reopened Saturday with a grand reopening celebration and more than 100,000 items on the sales floor.
The store closed for more than a month for renovations.
The store has new workforce offices, new floors and fresh paint, a seating area with a charging station and a more shopper friendly layout.
“It’s been crazy. The community has really taken well to the renovations for sure,” said Tylor Sutherland, a shift supervisor for Goodwill.
Sutherland said when people shop at Goodwill, their money goes into workforce programs.
The renovated store now provides another option for scheduled meetings with job connection partners.
