BANGOR — A COVID-19 case has forced Bangor High School to go to remote learning for the next week and a half.
Interim Superintendent Kathy Harris-Smedberg made the announcement online Tuesday.
According to the statement, the person with the positive COVID-19 test is either a student or a staff member at Bangor High.
In her statement, Harris-Smedberg told parents if they or their child are believed to have been in contact with the person who had the confirmed case they will need to quarantine for 14 days.
Bangor students are on thanksgiving break the rest of this week.
In-person classes are scheduled to resume Dec. 7.
