BANGOR — Looking to adopt a kitten? Then this an a-meow-zing time to do so.
The Bangor Humane Society has plenty.
Recently, they took about 40 from a rescue in Georgia, in addition to the ones already at the shelter.
On Thursday, they held two different adoption events, hoping to find some their fur-ever homes.
“They create a relief for stress, they are entertainment, they are companionship and I am just thrilled we are able to help people right now,” said Kathryn Ravenscraft, director of development for the Bangor Humane Society.
If you adopt through the humane society, all kittens come spayed or neutered and up to date on their vaccinations.
