BANGOR- Bangor International Airport’s parking system is getting some upgrades.
Existing ticket machines will be replaced and you’ll see new gates, as well as a self-service kiosk.
For those coming in and out of the airport, the change won’t be too noticeable.
Airport director, Tony Caruso said the changes are to keep the airport up to date.
“Like with anything, we’re just trying to stay up to date as much as we can with new equipment and new technology and give the customers what they deserve,” Caruso said.
Bangor City Councilors approved the changes, which are expected to cost just under $200,000, on Monday night.
Caruso says they plan to put the new systems in as soon as possible.
