TRENTON – An accident on Bar Harbor Road Wednesday morning left one person injured and tied up traffic.
State troopers were called to the three-vehicle crash about 8:45 a.m.
State police spokesman Steve McCausland said a sedan driven by Ashot Tadevosyan, 59, of Bangor crossed the center line and struck the rear quarter panel of a car heading north.
McCausland said that car then crossed back over the centerline and hit the southbound guardrail.
According to McCausland, Tadevosyan’s car crossed the centerline again and hit an Audi head-on before going off the road on the northbound side.
He said Tadevosyan suffered minor injuries in the crash and was having a medical issue when the accident happened.
The occupants of the other cars were not injured.
The road from Ellsworth to Bar Harbor was down to one lane while the crash was being investigated.
