BANGOR – Tim’s Plumbling in Bangor has seen a high volume of calls recently, even with Governor Janet Mills’ “stay healthy at home” order in effect.
Owner, Tim Davis, attributes it to COVID-19 keeping people inside. He says his workers are equipped with gloves, hand sanitizer, wipes and even hazmat suits if need be. Davis added his priority is his customer’s and employee’s safety.
“A lot of what we do though is in the basement so a lot of times the home owner will stay on one level kind of give us our space and we do the work. You know they can just call me over the phone to make payment or whatever so most of the time we don’t even need to have any face to face contact,” Davis said.
Davis also mentioned the business won’t be going to every house it gets a call from, but did say Tim’s Plumbing would do its best to help anyone over the phone.
