BANGOR – A Bangor woman who spent time in prison for stabbing two people at the Bangor Mall in 2015 is back behind bars.
On Monday afternoon, Bangor police were called to 85 Hammond St. for a report of a woman throwing rocks at cars.
When they arrived, officers saw two cars in a nearby parking lot that were dented and scratched.
Police also noticed football size stones on the ground near them.
Elizabeth Ellis, 39, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and violating her probation.
Damage to both vehicles was confined to the hood, roof and back of the cars.
If the damage estimates amount to more than $2,000, the criminal mischief charge could be elevated to a felony.
Ellis was taken to Penobscot County Jail.
