BANGOR – The Challenger Learning Center in Bangor will open its doors next week for its February camp.
During the session, kids will learn about astronauts, the solar system and nature.
Kristin Hibbard, the center’s director, said the goal is to provide opportunities for youth to have fun while learning.
“Our February camp really matches the mission of the challenger center’s,” she said.
“We’re trying to promote enthusiasm and excitement for STEM and STEM careers, so we like to focus on different topic each day to really let kids explore different sciences, have an interesting challenge and is something going to interest them that’s not just space science,” Hibbard said.
Hibbard said the camp is open to kids in kindergarten through grade five.
