BANGOR – A fugitive from justice and convicted killer from New Mexico was caught by police here in Maine.
According to the Penobscot County District Attorney’s Office, Ernesto Valdez was convicted of murder in New Mexico.
According to a New Mexican newspaper, Valdez was sentenced in 2011 to eight years in prison for fatally stabbing another man.
