STATEWIDE – The latest numbers from the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention show an increase of 17 in the total number of COVID-19 cases since the testing started in March.
The CDC website also shows an additional death recorded as caused by the coronavirus bringing the state’s total of people having died from COVID-19 TO 124.
According to the web page, the total number of cases now stands at 3,992. The CDC web site reports 390 people have been hospitalized for the treatment of coronavirus since the state agency started keeping track. It also stated 3,456 have recovered from COVID-19 in Maine.
