BANGOR – If having dinner at Noma in Copenhagen, Denmark is on your bucket list, a Bangor church group has the ticket to make your dreams a reality.
The Unitarian Universalist Society is holding a dinner for two anywhere in the world raffle, worth up to $5,000.
Organizers said the winner and their guest will receive the experience of a lifetime.
“Whoever wins gets to pick where they want to go,” said Tom Bickford, chairman of the board for the church. “We’ll fly two people to any major airport in the world and put them up for two nights at a hotel of their choice, and then feed them at a restaurant of their choice.”
The raffle raises money for their social justice and community outreach programs.
Tickets are $20 each and are available at Tea & Tarts in Downtown Bangor, at the UU Society office, or after their Sunday morning service.
The drawing takes place on Dec. 7.
