ELLSWORTH – Heart of Ellsworth has partnered with downtown businesses to implement a coordinated series of signs.
Visitors to Main Street in Ellsworth will find signs in the front windows of businesses, showing they are compliant with state safety guidelines put in place to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Businesses also have the option to show what customers are allowed to do with or without a protective face mask on the business’s property.
“That is there to help navigate conversation, but to possibly just let people know ahead of time what the business expects,” said Cara Romano, executive director of Heart of Ellsworth. “Once the conversation starts, the expectation is out there.”
The signs are a collaborative effort that was decided on through weekly video conference calls.
You can find these signs in storefronts up and down Main Street in Ellsworth.
