BANGOR – Maine’s fifth Firehouse Subs opened this week in Bangor.
The franchise opened its doors Monday with a menu full of subs, salads and even items for those needing gluten free options.
When you visit Firehouse Subs, you’re helping provide needed equipment to fire departments and first responders through the Firehouse Public Safety Foundation, which has donated nearly $400,000 to Maine firefighters.
Derek Nichols, Bangor’s franchise owner, has been with Firehouse Subs for nearly 15 years and says he is excited to have a franchise where he lives.
“We’re here, we moved back to Bangor two years ago and we brought the brand with us” said Nichols. “We’re very happy that it’s here and to support local firefighters and first responders.”
Firehouse Subs is located in the Crossroads Plaza on Stillwater Avenue in Bangor.
