AUGUSTA – Maine Gov. Janet Mills ordered flags to be flown at half-staff statewide until the internment of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died at the age of 87 on Friday.
The governor made the decision in accordance with a directive of the President.
Gov. Mills released a statement, as did a number of other Maine lawmakers, reflecting on Ginsburg’s life and legacy.
“She was one of the greatest Americans ever,” Mills said.
