BANGOR – Police shut down a portion of Union Street in Bangor late Tuesday evening.
Union Street was blocked off from the Dunkin’ location until the intersection with Griffin Road, and a portion of Godfrey Boulevard was closed as well.
Bangor police were on the scene.
Details are limited at this time, but our reporter at the scene said authorities appeared to be focusing on the area around McDonald’s.
The road was reopened around 10:00 p.m. and authorities told us that area is now safe.
