BOSTON – The lone person still hospitalized one month after the deadly explosion in Farmington continues to make improvements.
According to a representative at Mass General Hospital in Boston, 61-year-old Larry Lord was upgraded from critical to serious condition Wednesday.
Lord is the LEAP maintenance man who helped to evacuate the building before it exploded.
According to a GoFundMe page set up on his behalf, Lord suffered severe burns on over half of his body, multiple traumas, broken bones and critical injuries.
Lord and six Farmington firefighters were injured in the blast that claimed the life of Farmington Fire Captain Michael Bell.
