LINCOLN- If you’re willing to brave the cold, the town of Lincoln is offering some extra outdoor fun this weekend.
This Saturday, February 22, they are hosting their first ever Cabin Fever Reliever.
The event includes an ice fishing derby that will fundraise for the Brady Nickerson Foundation, an ice bar by Geaghan’s Brewing, and a chili cook-off.
There will also be free ice skating, with skates available at the town office.
“At this time of the winter, Mainers historically get a little stir crazy and need a little fresh air, maybe go see neighbors and friends,” said Kelly Ryder, the events coordinator for the town of Lincoln. “It should be a good time. I hope to see a lot of people.”
Also happening in Lincoln this weekend is the snocross races.
After a cold day outside, the fire department will be building a bonfire.
